Dear Ones,
Lately my mind has been sitting with the inquiry of ‘getting free’, which is our yearlong focus for Maverick: Painting Gone Rogue.
Sometimes our life situation feels comfortable enough to keep things status quo. Or, we are so busy and numb to what’s going on around us, that we are running on preset mode. We may wonder how we got here or what reality we are actually living inside of… often not the one we had visioned for ourselves.
Imagine in The Matrix where Neo is talking with Morpheus – the question of ‘What is the Matrix?’ is a stimulating simulation of questions we could be asking ourselves.
I wonder what answer we may find? If not an answer, another question. If not another question, a cookie for the Muse.
Here are Musea, we are inviting our guests and students to ‘create’ themselves outside of unsupportive structures through their own creative prowess. But first, we may do well to explore the construct or framework we are living in, and whether that is supportive to our ongoing evolution of becoming our own true self.
Creativity is one of the wonderful gifts of human beingness that allows you to get to that human construct and reveal it through art form in an external way from the internal shaped reality. Through this process, you take your power back and literally reshape the narrative with your hands, heart and mind! Seriously – where else can you learn this stuff???
My hope for each of us, is that through Intentional Creativity, we can get more free and break the spells of the invisible constructs that keep us from living our greatest life and fullest self-expression. When this happens, we gain a more expansive awareness of our story, identity and part in the great unfolding of life.
