There Are (No) Mistakes?

Surrendering the life we didn’t up having is a messy process. It requires us to look deeply at how we got where we are and what our choices are that have led us to this place. We are most likely hard on ourselves for all the “mistakes” and even torture ourselves further by telling ourselves that there are no mistakes.

I believe there are mistakes and that it is ok to admit that.

Calling In The Sparkle

ave you had the experience of the very AIR around you changing, seeming different- both in moments of bliss and pain? Times of miracles and grieving and transformations are moments when the air seems to me compressed and released and anointed with sparkle from On High. I have often wondered, since pain and miracles seem like something we can neither call on nor predict, but can certainly expect to show up -though with no idea when… is there a way to cause or call on the Sparkle from On High as needed? The answer of course is no and yes. Sparkle from on High is grace in its many sorted forms.

A Legendary Life is a decision…

The entire experience, Shiloh, has opened my heart to so much more than the art! You have created such a platform for all introspection and healing on untold levels yet to emerge. During your mentorship with all that you have provided for us from awesome instruction, thoughtful writing prompts and copious hand-holding and love-spreading along the trail these six months, I have grown into a WORTHY WOMAN. This may seem like a casual statement, but it is anything but! I spent my entire 63 years hiding my light and after six months with you and our bevy of loving Cowgirls on the incredible Caravan, I am emerging invincibly into a poet, writer, and artist! Thank you for your vision–and even more, acting on your Divine Visionary call! – Janet Landess

within the folds of her holy dress

In the folds of your dress
your holy garment
I bury my head
Smelling the sweet fragrance of your love
My little hands hidden in the layers of fabric
I try to be consumed and folded into your dress
I want to disappear into your being-ness
I pull up a fold and surround myself with silken fabric
Soft and giving, silky and strong
It is dark like your skin
and in these folds I can imagine
All the world is well and
I hear your soothing voice
speaking words of grace-filled wisdom
