Have you Tasted the Apples, 2013 by Shiloh Sophia
CONNECT TO THE INVISIBLE
Look where you haven’t been looking
to find what you haven’t been seeing
You will feel in ways you haven’t been feeling
Somehow you knew, that beyond the fear
there was something to look for
that you haven’t been seeing
Choose to Connect with your way of Seeing
Listen in a way you haven’t been listening
to reveal what you haven’t been able to hear
You may find insights you haven’t been having
Yet you knew there was more to the story
so you kept listening through the distances
Now you are forming narratives authentic to you
Choose to Connect with your way of listening
Think in a way you haven’t been thinking
you will find an entire world inside
inviting you to an expanse of mind
a terrain of belonging, that while invisible
is a place so vast and so tender, it is enough
to open your heart’s waiting wisdom
Chose to Connect with your way of Thinking
Become in ways you haven’t been becoming
This isn’t about what you know,
where you have been or who you know
not about what papers you hold from where for what
or how long you did it and what you accomplished
Rather, choose your way of being
Choose to Connect with your own way of Becoming

Dear One,
I’m heading out for a few days of rest as part of my new year recalibration time. The life of an artist serving a global community is one of the greatest joys of my life, and yet I am heeding the words of Einstein to remind myself that time is infinite and when rest, romance and relaxation are calling, I must put on my shades and drive off into the sunset with my love, Jonathan…
I would love to see you for our upcoming Red Thread Connect community call on 1/22 as we explore creating a visionary map for Prowess in 2020!
A full and beautiful season of events are planned for our community – both online and in person. In March, we make our annual journey to the United Nations to celebrate women, women’s work and women’s art. This will be our 7th year attending the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women Conference. There were over 550 applications and we were accepted!
The evening of March 9 is our date to speak and is open to the public (save the date). You can also join us for Dancing Entrepreneur, a 2 day workshop in New York, to create your own visionary business card deck and book – whether you have a business or are thinking about it, this curriculum is totally fresh in relation to mainstream business practice. It would be so wonderful to spend this time in person with you.
Blessings on your weekend dear one. I hope you can rest and rejuvenate in whatever ways bring you pleasure,
