Dear One,

I am in NY on my journey to the United Nations – wow so much is happening it is hard to even explain it in words, or images! And I am moving at top speed in preparation for the panels I am moderating, as well as the launch of our new course, PRISM.

Before I left home, I recorded a video about 3 ideas for transforming obstacles into initiations, so I thought I would share it with you – as I was having a hard moment – one where I was FEELING how difficult it is to be a leader – and why – so I turned on the camera and here it is on my Artist Shiloh Sophia FB page.

This morning on our Red Thread Cafe, I want to affirm the absolute importance of your piece of the Red Thread and knowing what it is. In our community of Intentional Creativity, knowing what your piece of the red thread is equates to knowing what is yours to cause and create in the world – your thing – your sacred assignment.

Yesterday opened two weeks of the Commission on the Status of Women, Session 60 where we are here to present on two panels!

I was simultaneously ecstatic to be in the conversation and also – rather – devastated at the condition of women and girls worldwide. I had many highs and lows listening to women leaders in the UN speak about what is happening. When I thought about what I could do about it over all, I become overwhelmed, I was furiously researching how to become a delegate (lol) and how to get in there – because the big thing that hinders even the laws that are passed, is implementation.

Intentional Creativity works at the level of implementation – through empowering women to be self expressed, healing their stories and feeling inspired and empowered to act. And of course I couldn’t help but think of how needed the men waking up is – and how Intentional Creativity  could help them wake up. IC is about consciousness and we have a world of unconscious beings.

My heart was racing, I was sweating and frustrated (like many of you, I feel things at a large collective level), and then suddenly this little clear strong voice came in.

“Just your piece. Not everyone’s piece. Your piece of the Red Thread is all that is needed, and really, the only part that is available to you to put into practice. Is your piece. If you try to bring in all the other pieces and do other women’s jobs you will be exhausted and besides, that is their job not yours. Just focus on your piece to find peace, yes, right now.” 

And so I did. I saw my piece and suddenly I was brought back into my own field and orbit. I stopped flying around the world in my consciousness and brought my focus to my piece.

I have had this experience many times – and I feel both are important – traveling around cosmically to see where suffering is, and then landing on my piece. Mine is self expression, specifically in the form of Intentional Creativity. That is what I am here to bring, and also – what my panels are on. So I am already set to bring my piece, and my peace.
