A letter from Shiloh Sophia for those interested in PRISM, who may wonder what this cosmic soul experience is all about….
Since Jonathan McCloud came into my life I have been given access to language and understanding I didn’t have – for what I have dedicated my life to. I will attempt to share with it you. But it is rather like trying to put the cosmos in a teacup.
What does healing look like? For me, it looks like I am a painter and poet who teaches others to access their inner information. And I do. Yet, I have been on a mission since the time I was a child that is all about healing. About seeking what we might be missing about what IS available in the domain of healing within each person’s life. Yes, I believe as likely all of you do – that we are each our own healer. But how?
What is the WAY to access transformation? How to REALLY truly, profoundly, consistently ACCESS self agency and activate our healing? I have been about the HOW since I was 23 years old, I am 48 this month. The how for me has been revealed through Intentional Creativity. When we create, we gain access to the codes of healing patterned in our body and field. When we create with intention, those codes can be directly applied to the inquiries and areas that we choose – and even ones we are not aware of. Hallelujah! And yes for me this has been hugely informed by my faith walk.
What does painting have to do with healing? Through working with thousands of women, I began to understand that we really do have MUCH more choice in how this goes, and how we can curate consciousness. I got it that we couldn’t just THINK it or WILL it or even desire it with our mind/thoughts.That wasn’t going to get the results most of the time. Better than not, but not as good as could be. We would have to TAKE PHYSICAL ACTION in the time/space/matter based continuum in some way. For me, that way is painting. This could be any form of creating where the body vessel is engaged with the energy vessel co-creating. Add intention and KAZOWA!
Painting, as an ‘image making tool’ is beyond what I could have imagined regarding how to work with healing. Since our trauma is not only stored in energy and matter, but in IMAGE. And so our IMAGINATION had to be part of the solution for changing the way that image works in trauma. When we re-live something, we feel it, and SEE it. How to change the seeing and what gets seen and perceived.
So we began to try on these ideas….We could pose an inquiry, begin to paint consistent with the inquiry transformed into intention and we could feel the energy move as the brush moved. AHA! The brush really is a magic wand where our focus is being directed in real time and we are watching it happen before our eyes and we are witnessing the change which is communicated to the brain. We don’t however dominate the brush – we let the brush lead and allow the image to arise and speak to us. Now we are getting somewhere, that was 2012. I still wanted to know HOW though. WHAT was happening in the space between spaces I could not see with my eyes? ACTUALLY HAPPENING? Give me the science! Give me the geometry! Then Jonathan came in 2013, summoned by my wild Muse I am certain.
Love in the form of inquiry….I asked him, as if he would know the answer, “What is actually HAPPENING in the quantum world when I choose to direct the focus of my loving energy through the end of the brush?” I asked, “When we move something stuck in the field through to the canvas, what is happening at the molecular level?” I asked, “If it is so that electrons change what they are doing when we look at them, then when we look at the painting, the electrons are changing all around me and in the painting and in the room in which I am painting, yes?” And. Lo and behold. He could speak to my questions. My Muse fell in love so hard, she toppled over the edge of reason and saw stars. Saw what Sue had been saying. Felt the motion of the planets as consistent as the shape of DNA.
Here’s how it happened...We were married in 2014 having found another person on the planet who spoke our language – we recognized each other. And he made me laugh and laugh. To my absolute delight, in 2015, he agreed to teach with me, and PRISM was brought into form.
We had taken a self-expression leadership course with none other than Werner Erhard (of EST/Landmark). He is 80ish and I wanted to see what he was teaching since he studies so much of the things I am interested in – transformation wise. I was driven a bit crazy by the course and broke all of my agreements. Jonathan on the other hand, appreciated it very much and was able to do what was asked, he is after all a Veteran. We were to bring a project to work on that we could apply the material to – and so – PRISM was that.
Always the rebel! What made me a rebel student is this – the course said it was about self-expression, but to me it felt like talking talking, sitting sitting, amazing information and more processing. We never moved, or drew anything or did creative exercises, or walked through the space as leaders. No felt embodiment. I was like – so what part of this is self-expression as leadership? It is information about leadership but not leadership as lived IN THE ROOM – in the experience. I was annoyed.
Visionary vacation yields the fruit! So on visionary vacation right afterward, we brought together the ideas he loved with the stuff I was reacting to, added art and quantum physics and kapow! We got the PRISM curriculum of 8 Modules of Conscious Leadership. We have taught PRISM in Copenhagen, New York, Healdsburg, Portland and Melbourne and led a ‘Virtual Lab’ online since 2015. So now, with 3 years of teaching and development in experience we are going to teaching it online again.
After teaching for several years….the information has shifted and developed considerably, and so has the quantum physics world and my ideas about healing and alignment. Ultimately PRISM is about understanding how to be coherent and aligned with yourself, your relationships, nature and the cosmos and your place on planet earth. About how to dance with the mystery as your beloved. And what you can DO WITH your aligned gifts to serve humanity as an empowered leader of YOURSELF. It’s basically bliss balls.

Isn’t it time to wake up? When people asked Sue Sellars what her art was all about she would say – “It is wake the f*ck up art”. Coming from a wizened elder with wry humor and looking over her glasses at the person – it was startling in the best way. And those who worked with her, did, wake up! I hope I have continued in that legacy :). And in PRISM we honor her work and ideas as integral to the process including techniques she taught me that I don’t usually share in fullness in other classes. The painting we create is an abstract expressionist archetype. While there is a face element – it is much more cosmic – we follow the brush. And we include awesome math and pattern and motion and dance with our canvas…People in PRISM don’t need me to wake them up – they do it on their own WHILE experiencing the adventure.
Here we go…We have just finished the biggest show of my life last weekend and now this weekend we begin, PRISM – Intentional Creativity Leadership Training.
