Prayer for Seeing Clearly
Bless us this day with your presence
Show us the way through the hard to see places
Anoint us with the oil for far seeing

Medicine Woman holds tools for healing in her magic basket.
She dances in the moonlight and sings her prayers.
Medicine Woman knows herbs and signs, stars and sums.
She is between maiden and mother, mother and crone.
punctuate my daily activities with big sweeping action steps about twice a month. I reach out beyond my immediate circle and I try something I haven’t tried before about what I am passionate about. Sometimes, it results in amazing incredible things and sometimes, nothing happens. BUT expressing my passion for life and love even if I don’t get the result I was trying for, keeps me awake, alert, truly passionate and engaged. I have EXPRESSED MY passion and it happens through e-mail, phone and in person and in paintings and writings. I feel the fire in my heart and it makes me feel a part of all that is, grateful to SPIRIT for igniting my soul with love, and it gives me a desire to keep serving.
Have you ever felt
not quite yourself around some folks?
Why is it that
to be wonderful
is not supported by everyone?
Do you ever feel like your being a success,
or just being happy
appears to be threatening to others?
Even those who love you. (And they really do)

This is my feminism.
That I might think the thoughts which I would like to think.
Free from the frames of thinking which I have taken on.
Conscious or unconscious.
This is the question and the answer all rolled up in one. Lately my family and I have been exploring what happens to us when we intensely commit to God as we understand God, and what happens when we are less committed to our structured God practice, but still loving and living fully, with God. And the findings are not all in yet – but one thing has come up for all of us:
How do we keep our wild creatives spirits flourishing while in the midst of the structure/paradigm presented by the God House instructions.
I get to enter a conversation in some cosmic way, with you. If you were here I would want to know, how you are feeling about the world right now. How your plans are working out. How our economy and it’s blessings and challenges are changing how you live. I would ask you about your loved ones. Who is happy and who is not doing so good. I would want to know, most of all, about your heart. And what you are doing to nurture it.
Oh Holy Lady
