Is your soul in need of a creative retreat? It’s no secret that many women, including me, have a hard time creating space in our daily routine to engage in creative acts and nourish ourselves. Whether that’s painting, writing, cooking, dancing, reading, making love or anything that ignites that inner flame of pleasure, passion and connection to the YOU inside that may be hidden or untapped, yet longing to be expressed.
This begs the question…How do you get in ‘there’? That place you know exists within, if you could just quiet the noise of your inner critic for 5 minutes, to listen and access this internal ‘voice’ of the WISE and WILD self we call your MUSE…
My Muse often awakens me in the middle of the night … She knows that the in between hours are the threshold between light and dark. She feeds me ideas like sweet honey…and I awaken inspired to share these ideas with my community.
Many years ago…over 8 years ago which seems like forever…I recorded my second video series around this idea, Tea with the Muse – attended by thousands of women over the years. I took a peek at it recently and discovered how much had changed, and how much had stayed the same. It felt like it was time for a freshen upper, so this is it. I wanted this to be shared in a collective energy – so while it is able to be done at your leisure…those who are able to, are joining us SOMETIME this weekend so we can be in the group energy together. A gathering of women all creating at once felt SO GOOD.
Because of the potent transformations my students have expressed after going through the Muse process, I’ve created an online retreat you can do right from your own home. ‘Midnight Muse’ is a step by step painting process to awaken and access your Muse. No painting experience needed! Just a willingness to get up close and personal with a canvas, acrylic paint and some brushes aka magic wands.
