Truly. What if you are the Oracle you are seeking? So many of us running around looking for THE teacher/healer/therapist/
I am no exception at times. When I need help I ask for it. But most of the time the information and insight I am seeking is within me…but it doesn’t just pop out. I have to do the work to listen and to cultivate my intuition and honor women’s ways of knowing.
For example, you cannot demand an answer from yourself and get good results – the soul just doesn’t work like that. There has to be some nuance, some prowess involved – access to the hidden domains is a lot more subtle than we may think.
You KNOW the answers are within you. Yet many of us don’t know how to GET IN to find them. Do you meditate? Pray? Walk? Chant? Automatic write or draw? Do these help you to get ‘inside’ where the information lives?
How do you get ACCESS to the hidden door?
WHERE the heck is that?
I feel like my entire life has been focused on finding my own hidden doors. Which lead to hidden rooms. That reveal hidden worlds. And then to share the process I discover with others – a reverse engineering of a sacred personal process.
When we can bring that which is hidden in our imaginal world into our real life ‘out here’, then there is enchantment, magic, playfulness, silliness! You know what? We CAN have a good time while we do transformational work. And if I can’t have fun with it, I might not show up! That has ALWAYS been a premise for the Cosmic Cowgirls: Doing our part to save the world, and have a good time doing it!

For me, the way I look at my story is how I design my framework for living. How I view myself, and my relationships. When I don’t choose it, the default setting takes over. Almost without my looking I can move into victim mode so quickly!
The work of staying present with personal evolution isn’t always unicorns and rainbows, sometimes it is more star jaguars and messengers from the deep subconscious waters.
I stay present through creativity – focused, dedicated, delighted in intentional interaction with my inner dialogue made manifest through art. I know this isn’t for everyone. Yet I think it is for a lot more people than THEY think it is for. Because people are afraid of creativity, afraid of what might come out or how it might look or make them feel. These are legitimate concerns and the precise reason why this is so potent.
ALL of us work in the domain of story. So whatever story you are telling yourself in this moment, this is an invitation to make it conscious. Don’t just let it operate in the background, bring it forth and take a look. Stories, unseen, run the show. Stories, seen and worked with, become legends!

Say Yes to the Great Adventure
One day you will look
and find the place
you never looked before
that has been there all along.
Then you will remember
though you won’t be fully certain
what it is you remember.
You just feel it and know it
without words.
Then you will walk into the forest
the one you have walked in
many times only this time
you see the secret doors.
Doors you imagined existed
but had no idea where to look.
Somehow you just knew
there were secret doors
that needed opening by you.
You will know that you have
prepared all of your life
to knock on the secret doors
now made visible to you.
You however, will not be prepared
at all for the surprising access.
This sacred rite is a gift of grace
that you will have to live into.
You may choose not to look all at once.
You will find messages you wrote
to yourself that you don’t remember writing.
You will find maps that you drew
to places you have never been
but have always missed.
You will step out of who you
have carefully crafted yourself to be
and into who you already are
and it will be natural
It will be natural,
once you get used to flying
without wings or need for certainty.
You will want to tell everyone
about the secret doors we can’t see
because we aren’t looking
with the eyes of the heart
the ones we didn’t know were there.
Take your time, there is no hurry here.
Little darlin’ take your time.
