Red Thread Letter #905
Dynamic Mindfulness
I love new beginnings, and I don’t think we have to wait for a new year to have a new beginning. I think we get to have a new beginning on every new and full moon. Every time we choose a new beginning, it is available to us.
And yet, there is something special about turning the great wheel of the year as we mark the shift from 2022 to 2023 with some significance to carry us through until the wheel turns again…
Here at Musea, we don’t focus on goals as much as affirmations and intentions. I, along with our Musea Community, am proposing that we embrace Creative Sanctuary as our 2023 theme. This means we are all interconnected from our own creative sanctuary’s around the world. Each one of our studios, workshops, museums are sovereign and interconnected with all of us.
Here is my chronofile for Tempo that includes the whole, starting with me in the middle and weaving out into the community, university and greater systems and paradigms. Give it a try and share your drawing in the Red Thread Cafe!
In addition to our community theme, we can each set our personal theme for the year. I invite you to play with the idea of setting your yearly theme with a twist called ‘arising’, which is part of my own process that I’d love to share with you. Come on over with a cuppa, journal and pen, and let’s get started. Shall we?
With so much love and anticipation for our year together,
