Emergence – Ritual Video

So often in our lives we are missing a rights of passage – an experience of having arrived, or having made a transition. We long for the marking of change to say – see, I am different now…..can’t you see it? We aren’t raised to know the way to ritual. For some of us it is natural but for most of us it can feel more like a forced rite experience.

How do you mark a loss? A win? A change of heart?

Do you take a walk, light a candle, go to the beach, write in your journal?

Do you just think about it? Does that do enough to move you forward?

For me, working with thousands of women means I engage in ritual, both seriously and playfully. This video is a little bit of both I think. I invite women, who are on the other side of the video screen to join with me. Working with the elements and even clothing to act out a change – to call in a transformation. This video was a part of a course called IMAGINE and this section was about rebirthing. I was watching it the other day and it reminded me how often women struggle with all that we take on from others. And so I did a little editing and included music from my dear friend Lavender Grace. I thought you just might need a little stirring up. If not, don’t watch now.

When I came across Shiloh’s Color of Woman Training I was searching for my Soul work.
