There is so much shaming going on, it is almost shocking. Certainly it is to our energy bodies and minds. The way it is being done. The energy behind it is like an arrow. Towards even those working to help, if even in their own specific way. Provoking anger and divisiveness. People telling me and others I am not doing enough or doing it wrong. People saying to me, stop painting and take action. (I actually paint about two to three times a month – the rest of that time is spent tending community). As if accusation of me, or those who care, is going to get us to do something? Not.
Inspire, if you can, don’t shame if you can help it.
At first I was angry – feeling that chemical moving through my body – but I caught it in time and turned it into a poem/ish instead of responding to shaming on social media. I just can’t go there.

My upcoming classes are a huge part of my response, providing medicine and rest and creative resilience for those who ARE SERVING. Connecting with MAMA energy and the fierce feminine. And, providing jobs for the women that I work with. You can meet the team here.
Invitations for women who seek the feminine during these times of uncertainty, and long to connect or reconnect with the Mama
HERE ARE TWO INITIATIVES by COLOR of WOMAN GRADUATES
for the identified oppressor, change can be hidden
and energies diverted and swallowed up
This does not in any way mean,
we do not call out injustices
with fierceness in our voice and heart
We are here to mend not tear apart
Can we name without blame?
Can we act without malice?
Can we create the future we want, if we hate?
Will we turn others toward a more ‘just view’
if we shape our ideas into arrows?
And shoot them into the gathering crowd?
Stand where you stand
If you stand alone, do not blame others
for not standing besides you
Those beside you may have another stand,
but if you are not projecting onto them
you may find an ally that you would have missed
Spend your energy carefully,
I say to you and to myself,
as we navigate this precarious paradox
If we can move in loving conscious action
we will not be bypassing the issues,
we will move closer to the focus sooner
If in reading this you think I mean
to not address the perilous realities,
this is not so, to the contrary
(the perilous reality
may be worsened
in good hearts being divided)
I know as you do that to survive and thrive
our energies and actions need to be focused
on that which we are seeking, not only resisting
The poison in our bodies and fields when
flooded with continual anger creates fatigue and despair,
I don’t know how else to say it
We need you well, we need you clear
You need you, without the constant fury
Can that fury turn into informed initiatives?
Fury rises when we become aware of the harm
Then through our conscious choice we channel
that into seeking and finding solutions
We are here to mend not tear apart
Curate your consciousness with intention
feel that strength of wise love moving in you,
before you act in condemnation
Hearts open and can join our call for peace
Minds open and can steward the progress
Lives are opened and can create healing
Let us shape our arrows into actions
Let us shape our arrows into actions
Let us shape our arrows into actions

Dear One,
I know this is hard. It’s a difficult time we find ourselves in. Who will you be in it?
I challenge myself all the time to speak to the need for healing of the feminine, and our power, without needing to talk about men/masculine/patriarchy. This does not mean I am not aware of it. It means I am CHOOSING to FOCUS on the change I am working to create. I only have so much life force, and I won’t be spending it shaming anyone. I don’t need to in order to do the work I am here to do.
This week what I am here to do has been teaching. Today it is writing this poem. Then on the 4th of July I will rest and celebrate the freedoms I actually cherish. I stand for the ideas of a just country, not our country as it is being run. It is time for many distinctions to be made in our lives.
IF you want to take a simple first step in taking action, please see the links at the top started by two community members.
In between, I write poetry to help myself, and those I love and serve.
Sending transformational love along the red thread…..
Together we can create patterns and practices for healing ourselves, one another and the world. We can’t give up. We have to keep showing up.
