Entering transcendent states of awe can be summoned by choice.
However, most of us cannot do it in the mind alone. Some intentional action is often required – which takes us into the domain of the field and body. The greater mind and the subtle body work together to expand us into awe.
When we create, in any medium, we enter a co-creative relationship between energy and matter. Then the dance begins and yes, awe can ensue! The electrons are excited and new feelings and energies can arise. THIS IS A FELT experience that is unmistakable. This is with us our whole lives but many of us do not activate it! We are missing out…
When we work with the dynamic inter-connected matrix of image, word, heart, mind, body and energy we gain access to our greater mind. When we combine these ideas with awakening to subtle body anatomy, our whole being is expanded! Those who can measure or see such things, say that it is instant once we become aware of it. Not unlike the electromagnetic field of the heart responding as soon as we know about it. This is how the quantum world works, our witnessing of it changes what we get to SEE and EXPERIENCE. The cosmic information of Creator REVEALS itself to us when we choose to LOOK with new eyes. I am interested in that kind of illumination. How about you? Come join us to explore for yourself….
So often we are confused, seeing but not seeing. Knowing but really knowing which way to turn. What would be changed in us and our lives if our WHOLE SELF was engaged in the process of living? We are making choices from our fragmented perceptions and interrupted energy patterns. It is no wonder then that we continue to get results that create further fracturing. (!)
Do we have to go to healer after healer to find the way? What is the ONE thing we could do to expand our awareness? Well…we could expand our awareness of our subtle body and greater mind, as a starting place. Just knowing about it begins to change it. Then we can begin to learn more about the sacred architecture of how it works. Now, this is exciting. The imagination turns up and turns on and suddenly we are aware of what is already here that we could not see just moments before. Like light passing through a prism revealing a rainbow…and in my work, we actually painting these ideas!
Knowing who we are, as in our whole body and greater mind, is what empowers us to act on behalf of the planet and one another. This time calls for awakened beings to rise up and share their gifts, to be illuminated. And to have a good time along the way! Is that possible? Absolutely. So often awakening happens in response to difficult events. It could actually happen by choice if we know where to look. Let’s look to our own illumination, and the Source from which that flows.
In my personal worldview, we are sacred math, designed by a Creator to Create. When we create we engage with the energy of the universe. That this is possible is humbling, and infinitely gorgeous. May we treat this sacred work with the utmost respect and care for our planet and cosmos.

Honestly, when in your life have you been invited to paint your sacred anatomy by someone who can actually SEE it?

I remember the first time I heard about sacred anatomy. I was in seminary to become a priest, yes, I said a priest. It was an esoteric and very rigorous sacramental church training that lasted two years. In year two we looked at the idea of having this ‘light body’ and ‘sacred anatomy’.
I remember thinking, I know this, somehow I know this. But I had never heard of it. I remember thinking – I have to know more. Instantly I begin to paint my idea of it. I remember the painting well – as soon as I painted it, a therapist purchased it and put it in her office to ‘show’ the visual of what was happening. I was 27. I got my first glimpse of how my work might be used in the healing fields. I would go on to paint other ones, including one that showed a great wound around the spinal column and sacrum of women – that is a story for another day.
For the record, I did get ordained a Reverend, but chose not to go on to become priest. I have often questioned that choice, as since the time I was a little child I wanted to serve in the ‘temple’. To serve Creator. To serve people in need. What I didn’t know then, but now I do twenty years later, is the form my service would take. The desire to serve resulted in Intentional Creativity. Bringing image to the sacred ideas, feelings, stories of the divine, often hidden life. Creativity is how I minister, this is my service, my lifework and my offering. And of course I LOVE to share it with those who are in service to others, and or on their own healing journey.
Since that time of exposure many years ago I have worked in the greater mind, and sacred anatomy but without REALLY knowing much about it. Just being it.
I researched, read a few books but it didn’t really resonate the way it did the first time. Yet when I met Desda (even though a lot of her material is way beyond what I can grasp), I knew that here was a person that could show me what I wasn’t seeing. I signed up for a class, bought the book and invited her come for an interview. That was a few years ago. Now here we are today, inviting our community to an experience of sacred anatomy and Intentional Creativity. (you don’t need painting experience or enregy experience to attend) Just come and take your time exploring this colorful material!
I can’t believe my good fortune of having friends in my life, like Desda Zuckerman. When I first met her I was like – now that is one of the most cool and interesting women I have met in a very long time. I am sure you will think so too –come see our videos here – and I love that we are both SO EXCITED about this work – you can see it in our faces!
Our conversations are funny, dynamic and have had a lasting impact on me as I explore her teachings. She knows just about as much as anyone on the earth realm about sacred anatomy – and we geek out over so many aspects of where our work intersects.

As for me I have been enjoying time away from the computer for one week. Walking, sleeping, eating well but little, and just staring into the sky. Sometimes I just need to do that to reset myself. This morning when I woke up after a good nights sleep I felt so grateful for sleep, for home, for bed, for the coffee I am drinking right now. I don’t do the world service by not enjoying what I have. I do the world service by acknowledging what I have and using my gifts, resources and connections to bring illumination. Each of us has our own way of turning the great wheel. Our own two step with the great mystery. Our own piece of the red thread. When you know what yours is, then you can live from that sacred space. Thank you for being on my thread, I send you blessings where you are.
